B&D is working with Donohoe Construction on this impressive project. The Bonifant at Silver Spring is a 149-unit new construction, 11-story high-rise residential apartment building with 6,300SF of ground level retail, located in downtown Silver Spring, Maryland, within blocks from Metro, retail, grocery stores and the new Silver Spring Library. The project will fill a critical need in the community, providing mixed-income housing designed with the senior demographic in mind. The development is an innovative partnership with Montgomery County, Maryland and a non-profit housing provider. Donohoe Construction successfully coordinated the project with the evolving engineering of the Purple Line, which will cross the site and put a new transit stop directly adjacent to the building.
